Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Product Owner is the member of the team who works as the voice of the customer, liaising with Product Management and other POs, besides other stakeholders, to define and list out stories in the Team Backlog and order them as per priority. The Product Owner will contribute to the creation of the vision and roadmap and ensure value realisation of our digital products, specifically our virtual agent. The POs collaborative and strategic foresight are pivotal in steering the transformation towards business agility, value delivery, and customer satisfaction

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Critical role in transforming our Virtual Agent into an engaging and intelligent Virtual Agent.

  • Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.

  • Defining the vision for the team’s product

  • Creating a product road map based on this vision.

  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.

  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development

  • Developing user stories

  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.

  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.

  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints

  • Understanding the ServiceNow ITSM platform and ensure training and knowledge on the products are up to date.

  • Advise users and stakeholders on best practice for the ServiceNow ITSM tools.

  • ·Understand and relate ITIL practice requirements into ServiceNow ITSM

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Understanding the ServiceNow ITSM platform and ensure training and knowledge on the products are up to date.

  • Understand and relate ITIL practice requirements into ServiceNow ITSM functionality.

  • Agile/SAFE scrum practice experience

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of systems and design thinking

  • Ability to listen and support teams in problem identification and decision-making.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • ITIL v3/4

  • SAFe Product owner/manager

Required Experience:

  • Significant active working experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile for the Enterprise)

  • 5 Years ITIL experience

  • 3 – 5 years to ServiceNow ITSM experience

  • 3 – 5 years scrum/agile experience
