Your day at NTT DATA

The Pricing Systems Analyst is accountable for supporting & designing pricing tools, systems and processes across the service division and will analyse deal data to ensure accuracy for operational, analytical and financial modelling purposes. This position works with offer management, product finance, operations & pre-sales teams to support the pricing data flows for various stakeholders throughout the business. The Pricing Systems Analyst will also provide support to the Offer Management team and feedback input on any complex deal review process related to deals in their assigned area of responsibility.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Systems & Process es requirements :

Power Automate

  • Creating and managing automated workflows to streamline business processes.

  • Configuring triggers and actions to automate tasks and notifications.

  • Integrating various applications and services to ensure seamless data flow.

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting workflows for any issues or errors.

  • Updating and optimizing existing workflows based on changing requirements.

SharePoint:

  • Designing and configuring SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries to support business processes.

  • Customizing SharePoint forms, workflows, and views to meet specific needs.

  • Managing user permissions and access controls to ensure data security.

  • Monitoring and resolving any issues related to SharePoint site performance.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Power BI reports/dashboards:

  • Developing visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.

  • Importing, transforming, and modelling data from various sources.

  • Creating interactive visualizations and adding calculated measures.

  • Configuring data refresh schedules to ensure up-to-date reports.

  • Sharing and distributing reports with relevant stakeholders.

Office Scripts:

  • Automating repetitive tasks in Excel using Office Scripts.

  • Writing scripts to manipulate data, perform calculations, and generate reports.

  • Debugging and troubleshooting scripts for any errors or issues.

  • Integrating Office Scripts with other Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Collaborating with users to identify areas where Office Scripts can improve efficiency.

Commercial costing & pricing

  • Provide an analytical breakdown of pricing structures

  • Maintain familiarity with hardware / software licensing and services commercial model in the vendor’s environment

  • Drive pricing model and pricing negotiation withregional sales teams

  • Ensure costing optimization with the vendors and regions and work with the Sales team to optimize deals, mitigate risks for NTT and prevent potential channel or country/region conflicts

  • Work across multiple teams to implement pricing and deal packaging guidelines.

  • Analyse data from a variety of sources and using it to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends

  • Conduct risk assessment and exposure management, calling out areas of concerns

  • Design competitive pricing proposition of specific client deals

  • Accountable for achieving an appropriate commercial return and manage key risks – working closely with multiple teams and facilitate deal reviews and approvals by Sales and Finance by managing the communication and structuring of business opportunities.

  • Accountable for ensuring that the pricing design includes development of the Client Business Case, the NTT Business Case, a pricing response, contractual pricing documents, addressing client concerns/requirements and mitigating business risksAccountable for deal structuring and/or packaging guidance to Sales, incorporating macro perspective into deal guidance in order to ensure that deals make overall business sense (precedent setting, pricing/discounts across segments/geographies and product family, hardware and software discounts)

  • Create pricing tools that are used to more quickly respond to changing market needs or trends

  • Create appropriate pricing templates that conform to pricing standards required by the business

  • Partner with Legal to perform contract reviews and assessments

  • Perform scenario analysis, what if comparisons, sensitivity analysis, on key deal during deal structuring cycle

  • Support the transfer of the pricing knowledge to the GDC delivery team to ensure the ongoing management of the commercial aspects of contracts.

  • Accountable for reviewing the financial returns delivered by engagements to ensure the learning is captured as engagements deliver

  • Provide analysis identifying common trends and issues around pricing and competitive situations, learnings from deals, pricing pressures, competitive pressures, loopholes, etc., encountered in day-to-day management of the region

  • Accountable for capturing knowledge into artefacts that can be used to support new pursuits and ensure it is embedded in NTT’s overall approach– e.g. updated costing and pricing policies, models.

  • Create and facilitate training programmes on pricing pursuits lessons learned for account, sales enablement and delivery teams and deliver ongoing education to ensure Sales understanding and compliance.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Specialist knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs

  • Specialist knowledge of the industry including competitors and market trends

  • Specialist knowledge of vendor pricing and commercial model (e.g. Cisco and Microsoft license model / VMW license model)

  • Keen eye for identifyingopportunity

  • Good analytical and research skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good Negotiations and problem-solving skills

  • Effective reporting and presentation skills

  • Commercial acumen

  • High level of drive and ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships with a variety of stakeholders

  • Maintains extensive knowledge of product and service offerings, including new offerings

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Commercial or equivalent

Required Experience:

  • Seasoned experience working with business intelligence software

  • Seasoned relevant experience in similar role within a related environment

  • Seasoned pricing experience as a consultant or practitioner with a history of developing and implementing innovative pricing solutions

  • Seasoned experience in commercial modelling using MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
